Our government is presenting the case that we should "trust" them with an invasive surveillance program that allows them to snoop into our personal lives.
Current legislation in congress proposed by the Bush Administration would sheild large corporate interests from lawsuits when they betray us and give our personal information to the United States government.
President Bush wants us to believe that he cares about us; that he wants to protect us.
Startlingly, today CNN broke a story today showing how FEMA has allowed families to live in trailers contaminated with serious levels of formaldihyde http://www.cnn.com/video/?iref=videoglobal.
Centers For Disease Control officials recommended that the displaced families leave the trailers immediately.
And go where?
This incompetent, inept government wants to have the power/our trust, to snoop on us and curb our constitutional rights when they cannot be trusted to safely put our familes into safe disaster shelters among the many other failures.
They want us to believe that they care about us when they turn down universal health care.
It is time for many to wake up and realize that our government really does not care about us.
