The Friends Center, designed by Hubbell and Hubbell, is a green building featuring strawbale construction, edible landscaping, and more that will be a visible demonstration in our community of our dedication to peace, nonviolence, social justice and environmental sustainability. The Friends Center is a collaborative of the Peace Resource Center, San Diego Friends Meeting, and the First Church of the Brethren of San Diego.
Thanks to the generous contributions of time, energy, materials and money from the community, the Friends Center is making incredible progress towards completion.
We’d like you to come and see what we’ve done so far and what’s needed for completion to make the Friends Center a lively, proactive voice for peace and social justice events and programs in our community! WE’RE ALMOST THERE!!!
