PEACE MEDITATION & COMMUNION THROUGH THE BORDER FENCE - Sunday, October 5, 2:30 p.m., Friendship Park. Experience the true meaning of “World Communion Sunday” as we break bread together and share the cup through the border fence. Meditation for peace followed by interfaith communion with U.S. and Mexican clergy. Sponsored by: American Friends Service Committee; Border Angels; Border Meet Up Group; Center for Justice & Reconciliation, PLNU; Foundation for Change; St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral; Si Se Puede Immigrant Rights Organization. Directions: from I-5, exit West on Dairy Mart Road. Dairy Mart turns into Monument Road, which leads to Border Field State Park ($5 per vehicle on entrance). Valid U.S. identification required. 2) PLANNING – If you’d like to participate in planning this event, we will meet by conference call tomorrow, Friday, September 26 at 12 noon. Please contact me for call-in information. If you can’t make the call tomorrow, but would like to speak today at 12 noon, please let me know and I’ll make arrangements.
