We have suffered a heartbreaking loss but our work for marriage equality is not over! If you are frustrated, confused, or just plain fired up, join us at a community dialogue, “Stop the Hate – Invalidate 8 – Celebrate Human Rights Day!” to talk about the legal challenges to Proposition 8 and what the community can do to restore equal rights to all Californians. Legal experts will discuss the court cases that will be heard in the California Supreme Court, and community organizers will lead a brainstorming session on grassroots ideas for building support locally for marriage equality. December 10, 2008, 7 – 9 pm at Botanica at 2310-B Kettner Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101. Space may be tight; please arrive early with your questions and best ideas for moving forward at the ready!
