When: Wednesday December 30th Time: 5:30-7:00pm Where: In front of Horton Plaza by the fountain on Broadway ave What: Candle Vigil (please bring candles) As many of you know, there were widespread demonstrations on the Day of Ashura on Sunday and the basij and plain clothes militia attacked and killed at least 5 people, injured scores of people and arrested many. To respond and stand in solidarity with those who have so bravely took to the streets and continue to defy threats of violence by the regime, we will hold a peaceful candle vigil to commemorate those lost, injured and arrested and to give strength to those that continue the peaceful movement towards democracy and freedom.
