You may have heard me say that I am a nonviolence training junkie! And if you are trying to practice being more nonviolence more of the time in your life I do suggest taking as many difference nonviolence trainings as possible - you will get something different from each training and increase the likelihood of responding (with nonviolence) rather than reacting (out of anger, frustration, fear, etc.)
AVP Training was developed by the Quakers more than 30 years and includes community training as well as a program in prisons. I recently attended AVP Basic Training inside Donovan State Prison and felt it was the most powerful nonviolence training I have ever participated in (as facilitator or participant).
Please forward this information to your friends and lists so they will have the opportunity to take this training!
May Peace Prevail in Your Hearts, Homes, Communities, and the World!
