The San Diego May 1st Coalition, Border Angels, Activist San Diego, and the Social Justice Ministry Team of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego invite you to participate in the formation of a regional and bi-national network of activists and organizations committed to immigrant rights and social justice in the US/Mexico border region.
Issues to be discussed:
SOCIAL JUSTICE: Border Militarization, Raids and Deportations, Immigrant Detention, Immigration Reform, Community Support, Immigration Politics, and the Anti-Immigrant Movement.
ORGANIZING THEMES: Network Building, Community Outreach, Student Outreach, Media Operations, Cross-Border Solidarity, Legal Issues.
