During the week -- CLEAN UP!!
We appreciate an RSVP for this, but it's okay to just show up.
March 8, 9, 10 (Tues, Weds, Thurs), each day 9:30am - 3:30pm
Bring Lunch and rubber gloves. All other supplies will be provided.
Also, 9am each day there will be a quick tour of the building.

Benefit Concert with John Neptune & East West
6:30 pm - Refreshments in the Friends Center courtyard
7:30 pm - Concert in the Brethren main hall, $20 Suggested Donation
John Kaizan Neptune is a master of the shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute) and well-known in Japan. This California native is also an accomplished jazz artist and composer who has gained respect in both the East and West for his versatile and technically sophisticated melting pot of sounds.
East West was formed in 2005 as a blend of artists, talent, and cultures. With a unique instrumental combination, East West offers a fresh, dynamic sound that is a new take on jazz standards, traditional melodies and original compositions. Present will be: Reiko Obata, Bill Andrews, Russell Bizzett, and Kamau Kenyatta.
Reiko Obata is one of the leading American koto players. A native Californian, she studied under masters in the U.S. and Japan. Her music has been featured on radio and in film and live theatre, and she has recorded CDs of her own compositions and arrangements.

Plus: Building tours, Orchard tours, Refreshments, Quiet space, Info tables with Friends Center "Green" Experts
Sunday 10 am - 12 Noon
Interfaith Blessing
This time of blessing will represent the diversity of people, faiths, and traditions in our San Diego community. We welcome all who want to join in this spiritual blessing celebrated in a Quaker setting recognizing God's yearning for peace and wholeness in a hurting world.
