Juan Melendez spent nearly 18 years on Florida's death row for a crime
he did NOT commit. In 2002 he became the 99th U.S. death row inmate to
be exonerated and released. His case highlights the persistent and
pervasive problems of our death penalty system.
Come hear Juan speak on his struggle for freedom and his life's mission
to abolish the death penalty. Don't miss this opportunity to hear
Juan's inspirational story of courage, resilience, faith and forgiveness.
Paid public parking ($1/hr) is available in Parking Structure 6 on East
Campus Dr. north of Montezuma Rd. Look for yellow ticket vending
machine on left as you drive into the center of the structure.
Via trolley: SDSU Transit Center, walk across College Ave. bridge then
ahead about 400 yards to Tula Hall in the dorm complex near the
southeast corner of the SDSU campus.
