It should be clear, crystal clear to everyone that there are serious, systemic problems in our nation. This isn't partisan politics; not Conservative vs. Liberal, not Democratic vs. Republican, or any labels work: WE ARE ALL suffering, except for perhaps some VERY few who are actually
- Continuing wars sucking the life out of our economy, not to mention, continuing lives lost.
- Continuing government deficits and "government poverty" while corporate greed runs rampant.
- YEARS of declining investment in our physical and social infrastructure, to where not only bridges, but schooling and healthcare are about to collapse.
- The middle class under seige, declining, homes underwater, either no work or wages so low that poverty rates, and real households in poverty, are increasing.
These and more, much more. YOU KNOW all this.
Some have the guts and voice to speak out. Some have been speaking out for quite some time. More are joining now: witness the Occupy Wall Street movement.
