Occupy San Diego will submit a Ballot Proposition to the City of San Diego on Thursday, 05 Jan 2012 at (2p). A press conference is planned at City Hall steps on Ballot Proposition to amend to SDMC 54.0110 to explicitly state exemptions include "peaceful picketing, lawful labor activities and peaceful political activities." News Release

OSD is also working on other initiatives:

Clean Elections proposal for San Diego City offices.

Anti-corporate personhood initiative.

January 7th is the 3-month anniversary of Occupy San Diego! HUGE MARCH IS PLANNED!

Demands committee has a new web page: Demands Committee to help organize demands, etc.

See the new grid of demands. This is all IN PROCESS.

Demands committee decided not to attempt to provide a set of demands (i.e. solutions) to the Occupy Congress event on January 17.

Stop corporate personhood is one of the "demands" frequently mentioned by occupiers. Well, there is an initiative that MAY be on the ballot to change the state constitution, but it needs signatures. Should Occupy get behind this initiative? See The description by the Attorney General and the full text of the law here.

Unless otherwise noted, we meet daily as follows:

4 pm -- Finance Committee Meeting, Downtown Johnny Brown's, Mon. thru Friday

Each committee should send a representative to this meeting! Budget is currently being defined.

5:30 pm -- Committee meetings -- Each will schedule the days of their meetings.

7pm -- General Assembly (Civic Center Plaza)

* From December 17, Saturday GA will be at 2pm.

GAs require 20 participants for a quorum.
