Subject: Request for help with publicity for Shan Cretin's visit on Sunday, May 19
The title is "AFSC at 95: Building on a Legacy of Quaker Action". Shan Cretin is the General Secretary of American Friends Service Committee. Pulling from AFSC's history, Shan will highlight how AFSC has always been a broad Quaker experiment in creating the conditions for lasting peace. She will discuss how the efficacy of war and violence has been disproved, and how we have an opportunity in our next 100 years to change public perceptions of war in a lasting way.
