USD TO HOST BORDER FILM WEEK

Believing in the transformative power of films, TBI created Border Film Week to provide students and educators with screenings about border culture, Mexico and Central America, and the realities of immigration.  Through this initiative, TBI has successfully provided a bridge between border culture and the San Diego community, cultivating non-traditional education that leads to the expansion of cross-cultural understanding. TBI's 8th annual Border Film Week will showcase documentary and feature films offering a broad vision of border culture.

Subject: [SDCPJ] Fri 3/21 "Creating a Culture of Civility"

This sounds like an interesting (free!) event for the public to attend at USD this Friday morning. Below is a link with info and to register, though it seems on-site registration might okay as well.

An informed and engaged public is important!

In Peace,
Mariah
