We will begin with a Cultural Issues Workshop and learn how to discuss difficult cultural issues.
Movies include:
From the horrible genocide of Native Americans to the enslavement, murder, rape of Black people....
to the injustices delivered to Latinos who are forced to flee...not immigrate because of U.S. Trade Laws...to the murder and lynching of people of color in this country during Jim Crow..to the Iranians who had their democratic government overthrown by the CIA.
..to Arabs who had their land stolen during World War I by Sir Mark Sykes.....to Japanese Americans who fought for America during World War II while their families were locked up in interment concentration camps.....we will take a look at the past...a sobering look at how people of color are still suffering from these injustices...to how we can communicate...collaborate...and heal....with love...compassion....and the tenants of nonviolent communication.....we will move forward...with Zeitgeist Moving Forward.
