Greetings friends and supporters,

On behalf of the Project on Youth and Non-military Opportunities (Project YANO) we would like to extend an invitation to high school students you may know or be the parent of to be interviewed as part of a video project we are currently working on.

One goal of our video project is to create a short documentary video we can use in our direct work with high school students. Our hope is that that organizations seeking to inform people about the need for counter-recruiting will also use this video.  

Our target audiences are 1. Students/youth, 2. Community members/parents and 3. Funders/donors. Our goal, which overlaps with our message, is to empower, inform and create a urgent need in our audience to do something about the issue.  

An ideal participant is (1) a current San Diego County high school student or recent graduate, (2) a student who has been attempted to be recruited, recruited or constantly contacted by military (or other branch) recruiters and (3) open minded and willing to openly share their story and experiences.
