Want to make an important difference to the safety of our community? Here is your chance to say No Nukes at the Beach or make a public comment to the Coastal Commission on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday- 8:30 a.m. on May 10th,11th,12th at the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 1600 Pacific Hwy, San Diego.
We cannot bury nuclear waste at the beach. The canisters for the dangerous nuclear waste are too big, too hot and too thin and will corrode in the ocean air and there is no technology to inspect for safety when they are buried.
We cannot afford to pay huge sums of money on a power plant that is not operating.
